Chris Albrecht
Editor in Chief
I’m the Managing Editor of The Spoon, running its day-to-day editorial operations and determining its overall editorial direction. While I cover the transformation of the entire meal journey, I focus on food robots, artificial intelligence, and the evolution of grocery shopping. Prior to blogging about food tech, I was Creative Director for the influential site, GigaOm, and Co-Editor of NewTeeVee, which chronicled the rise of streaming video. In addition to writing about food tech, I also dabble in screenwriting, with two original screenplays optioned and a digital animated pilot produced by Nickelodeon.

Jenn Marston
Senior Writer
Jenn is a writer and editor for The Spoon who covers restaurant tech and food delivery, developments in agriculture and indoor farming, and startup accelerators and incubators. On the side, she moonlights as a ghostwriter for tech industry executives and spends a lot of time on the road exploring food developments in more remote parts of the country. Previously, she was managing editor of Gigaom’s market research department and was once a competitive pinball player. Jenn splits her time between NYC and Nashville, TN.
