The Role
Our team is responsible for the development of continuous and recombinant cell lines, production of proteins and up-scaling the production processes.
Key Accountabilities
– With your up-to-date knowledge of and experience in different cell culture techniques, you culture various cell lines for research and production purposes.
– With your team, you produce (recombinant) proteins and contribute to the optimization and innovation of protein production.
– You document and process the results and report these to the team.
Skills & Experience
– You have relevant experience and are highly motivated to perform experiments in the field of protein production and cell culture.
You meet the following professional requirements:
– You have a completed Bsc/Msc education or equivalent.
– You have at least 1 year of work experience with various cell culture techniques including the culture of mammalian cells.
– You have experience with molecular biological techniques, such as molecular cloning and Western Blotting.
– You are a team player; you are flexible and capable of running several experiments in parallel.
– You possess an overall positive and optimistic attitude to help nurture our teams’ spirit and “go-getterness”. You are comfortable in an international and interdisciplinary environment.
– You are interested in automation and like to contribute to the development of these processes.
