Are you a beverage connoisseur with a love for e-commerce and the fast-paced energy of startup culture? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and tech-savvy Production Lead to spearhead our rapidly growing kombucha and kava production business. Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire kava production process, from sourcing and processing to packaging and shipping, ensuring top-notch quality and timely delivery of products.
Produce, bottle, and manage our kombucha production for our growing locations.
Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of production technicians, creating a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and innovation.
Leverage Shopify and other e-commerce platforms to streamline operations, maximize efficiency, and optimize sales performance.
Work with existing (Katana) back of house production applications to maintain efficiency.
Collaborate with our established sister-businesses to develop new products, refine existing offerings, and elevate brand awareness.
Monitor and maintain production equipment, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
Implement and adhere to safety protocols, quality control procedures, and relevant regulations to ensure the highest standards in kombucha & kava production.
Continuously track supplies and goods to ensure smooth production processes.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure a consistent and sustainable supply of premium kava roots.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the coffee or tea beverage production industry.
Proven expertise in Shopify and other ecommerce platforms, with a strong understanding of online sales strategies and analytics.
Familiarity with startup culture and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, focused on efficiency and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of quality control systems, food safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet production deadlines and customer demands.
