Host: Carolyn O’Neil

Carolyn ONeil MS, RDN is a registered dietitian nutritionist and award winning journalist specializing in multi-media food, nutrition, lifestyle and travel communication. She is a writer, journalist, cookbook author, public speaker and broadcast media spokesperson. ONeil contributes to VIE Magazine, OLTRE Magazine, Southern Living Magazine and other food, lifestyle and travel publications.

Carolyn has received three James Beard Awards for her work in broadcast food journalism. She is a contributing writer for CNN Health and serves on the editorial nutrition review boards for Dotdash Meredith and Forbes Health. She is a member of the Google Food Lab, working on projects related to nutrition and sustainability. She is former professor of nutrition science and food in the media at Florida State University and taught journalism at Emory University.

She has extensive broadcast and print media experience, including nearly twenty years as executive producer, managing editor, and senior correspondent at CNN. Her weekly “Healthy Eating Out” column ran in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for over ten years.
