About the role
Over the past eight years, we’ve built an incredible foundation for growth through the delightful product experiences we’ve developed, the robust platform infrastructure we’ve invested in, and our strong partnerships with leading brands.
Following a Series A fundraising round last year, we are now looking for an experienced, growth-focused product leader, to grow our user base by orders of magnitude by pioneering a best in class experience for our users and for our partners.
You will own the core UX of our platform, and lead our user growth strategy, focused on activation, engagement and recipe merchandising. You will also collaborate closely with our VP of Global Sales, to ensure that we are delivering an excellent experience for our partners (the largest appliance brands in the world). You will own the product roadmap, aligning our priorities with business strategy. A key deliverable of this role will be building a premium experience and executing a scalable subscription/monetisation model.
You will have a thorough understanding of the Product Delivery Life Cycle, and can dive into the details on product, product marketing and merchandising, as a player/coach. Using your deep knowledge of product marketing, network effects, and leveraging platforms, you will identify and capitalize on activation, engagement, and resurrection opportunities for our app.
Sitting on our leadership team, you will lead our product, growth, and design teams. To help you to realize your vision, you will also have the cross-functional support of a high-performing and data-informed team of data scientists and engineers.
You will inspire a culture of growth across the company, one that encourages experimentation and curiosity as well as a constant desire to improve in any and every area we can. You have built high-performing and cohesive teams, and know how to mentor and coach product and growth professionals — including managers — to fulfil their potential.
In your 10+ year career, you have repeatedly driven successful user growth strategies through a customer-centric, data-driven approach, focusing on activation, engagement and resurrection in mobile (augmented by the web), so you have plenty of success stories and cautionary tales to share.
This is a leadership position that reports directly to the CEO, and in that capacity the ideal candidate will be comfortable working on a strategic, executive level one minute and on a hands-on project level the next.
