Helaina’s R&D ecosystem harnesses the power of naturally occurring biological processes in tandem with modern advances in the space of synthetic biology, fermentation, and improved industrial processing. We are a fast-paced startup looking for our next team member who is intensely passionate about advancing synthetic biology for food and beverage products.
In this role, you will work with our NYC team to operationalize & support core parts of our growing business. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, motivated self-starter with a strong sense of initiative.
Primary Responsibilities
- Contribute to ongoing operationalization of business processes
- Manage talent tracking system, hiring plan, and candidate outreach
- Contribute to diligence and presentation materials such as board decks, partnership presentations, investor presentations, and financial models
- Manage workflow processes across multiple internal teams
- Market research to inform product and business expansion decisions
- Ad hoc operations requests such as procurement, event management, etc.
- Managing interdependencies and connections between functions to ensure visibility and alignment
Minimum Qualifications
- Location: NYC or Remote; United States
- Currently enrolled in an MBA degree program or equivalent degree
- Startup experience preferred
- Experience with Agile, Monday, Miro and/or Google Drive is a bonus
- Ability to be a proactive self-starter, working independently to move projects and tasks forward to completion
- Ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think critically with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organization and efficiency
