The successful candidate will be excited to establish and reinforce scalable processes and standards and build strong relationships with the leadership team across all areas of the business. How You Will Make a Difference
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and specs for new roles in technical and non-technical positions across all areas for the company
- Maintain and develop a pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions
- Review, screen, and interview the best candidates for roles across all teams
- Manage the complete interview process, providing clear communication for candidates, managers and internal stakeholders
- Work with the Operations team to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding for new hires.
- Perform outreach though tools such as Linkedin in addition to engaging candidates in social media, leveraging your connections, networks, and knowledge of different sources
- Work on best practices in tools and candidate experience to enhance the entire function
- Develop strong relationships with recruiting agencies and utilize their services as needed for hiring.
- Make recommendations to the hiring manager based on pre-screening interviews
- Look for areas of continuous improvement within Talent Acquisition at Helaina
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field and at least 3-5 years of solid end-to-end recruiting experience working across a wide range of roles at all levels
- Proven track record of creating, implementing, and leading successful recruiting efforts in a fast paced environment
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Lever
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Highly organized, with a keen eye for details
- Team player with a “no task too small” attitude
- Ability to multi-task and wear multiple hats
- Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter preferred
- Experience in Food technology and biotechnology industry is a plus but not required
- Results oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, articulate, trustworthy and highly professional
- Self-starter mentality; comfortable with ambiguity, limited direction, and establishing something from nothing
- A team player who leads by example and demonstrates Helaina’s core values

- Terms of employment: Full-time, non-exempt
- Location: NYC or Remote; United States
