About the role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own and develop our social media presence across all platforms, primarily Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This role will execute all paid and organic social media campaigns, assist with content creation, plan monthly content calendars, schedule daily posts, write copy in the Proclamation Goods brand voice, facilitate influencer takeovers, and grow our followers.
This role is based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Must be eligible to work in the United States. We offer a flexible work-from-wherever policy. However, this position must be able to meet at our Mission District showroom in San Francisco for weekly meetings and photo/video shoots.

Responsibilities
- Own all Proclamation Goods social media platforms, including strategy, posting, community engagement, and reporting
- Publish daily content on all platforms
- Assist development of social media content series, best practices, and brand voice
- Develop and lead the execution of monthly social media content calendars
- Identify and own relationships with influencers and other like-minded brands for takeovers, partnerships, and contests
- Maintain a flexible “always on” schedule to handle social media needs that may occur outside of normal business hours
- Monitor and report on social media trends
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in brand social media management and/or marketing
- Must be highly organized, proactive, and able to take constructive feedback
- Must be willing to assist with tasks outside of core responsibilities – we are a small startup, and at times employees are expected to assist with other areas of the business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you are the main liaison between our brand and our customers
- Keep our social accounts interesting and relevant by staying on top of trends across all social media platforms
- Must be able to analyze and use data to develop and drive social media strategy
- Must have excellent photography and videography skills
- Must be proficient in Photoshop and/or Lightroom
- Experience with video editing and/or motion graphics in Premiere Pro and After Effects a plus
