We are Cultivated, and we are looking for a great new team member to join us on our amazing journey to improve the food system with creamy, dairy-free, indulgence!
Your mission
As Food & Chemical Engineer you will be responsible for leading the effort to develop processes to efficiently extract our indulgent cream at an industrial scale. You will work with microbiologists, fermentation scientists, and food technologists to ensure we extract a delicious ingredient in a price-competitive way. As one of our early hires, your role will be pivotal in making dairy-free indulgence a reality for consumers worldwide.
What you need to succeed
– Masters in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Food Processing or equivalent
– > 4 years of industry experience in food processing or industrial biotechnology
– Experience with various unit operations at pilot and larger scales
– Experience in lysis and separation technologies
– Experience with lipid and protein chemistry
– A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude
– Willingness to learn new things quickly
