About Cultivated Biosciences
Our mission is to empower plant-based dairy to give it the creaminess and mouthfeel consumers strive for. To do this we are developing creamy fat ingredients from non-GMO yeast to be sold as B2B ingredients. We have a fantastic team, investors and advisors by our side, such as Arturo Elizondo and Lukas Böni, and are now eager to make better ingredients than any factory farm could together with you!
Your mission
As Fermentation Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the effort to develop processes to make our yeast fat and delicious. You will work with microbiologists, downstream engineers, and food technologists to improve the yield and ensure the yeast has properties for a desirable final product.
What you need to succeed
– Bachelor or Masters in Fermentation Science, Biotechnology, or equivalent
– Initial experience with microbial screening methods
– Initial experience with benchtop bioreactors
– A proactive attitude
– Willingness to learn quickly new things
