At Redefine Meat, we love Meat. Really, really love Meat.We believe the world deserves new-meat,* a new category of meat with the same flavor, texture, & versatility as traditional meat, but made from plants. With deep technology and IP, we developed a wide-range of high-quality products including the first commercially available premium cuts at scale to provide a no-compromise meat experience in any cuisine.

For the past 3 years we have been building a strong foodservice and retail business in 10 countries across Europe. Our products are served in over 5,000 locations from steakhouse chains to Michelin-star restaurants to street food.
Redefine Meat is now expanding to the US and bringing plant-based meat to places it has never been before. We are looking for a driven, passionate salesperson with an entrepreneurial mindset to rapidly grow our NY Region foodservice business. Be one of the first employees to join our team in the US and have a chance to do something historical.
Your challenge:
- Drive sales growth by conducting culinary demonstrations that go beyond showcasing the product, focusing on solution-based selling to ensure sustainable success in the market
- Build strong relationships with existing and new customers (distributors, restaurants, caterers).
- Manage and execute the hunt for new business opportunities within the market while simultaneously working closely with distributor sales teams to penetrate customer pipeline according to sales strategy
- Use your creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to grow volume & revenue to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the assigned area.
- Update CRM on a daily basis
- Conduct physical and virtual culinary and sales trainings for distributor sales teams
- Represent Redefine Meat at trade shows, delivering exceptional live cooking demos and capturing new customer leads
- Deliver exceptional customer success support; regularly check in on existing foodservice customers and support strategic customer initiatives.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing to identify, develop and validate new business opportunities that arise from market needs, kitchen trends, and FS market developments.
What you’ll need:
- At least 3 years of experience selling an innovative food brand, preferably in a startup environment
- Excellent culinary skills and passion for food
- Existing relationships in the LA Area Foodservice channel is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and are able to easily build relationships with chefs
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset – not afraid to break traditional practices.

- Mission-driven with excitement for the plant-based foods industry preferred
- Preferred to have experience interacting with stakeholders throughout foodservice value chain (distributors, brokers, consultants, groups, restaurants, etc.).
- Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM platforms
- Willingness to regularly travel across NY area
